Showaddywaddy, the self-proclaimed “Greatest Rock & Roll Band In The World,” are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a UK tour. The tour arrives at the Empire on Wednesday 18 May, 2024.
Formed in 1973 in Leicester, Showaddywaddy have sold more than 20 million records and have toured all corners of the world extensively. They are known for their energetic live shows and their love of classic rock & roll. They always play to a sold-out house in Blackburn
The 50th Anniversary Concert will be a dynamic and uplifting show that will take fans on a journey through the band’s history. Showaddywaddy will be performing all of their biggest hits including ‘Under The Moon of Love’, ‘Three Steps to Heaven’, ‘Hey Rock & Roll’, ‘When’, ‘Blue Moon’, ‘Pretty Little Angel Eyes’ and many, many more.
The tour will be a chance for fans to celebrate with Showaddywaddy and to relive some of their favorite memories. It will also be a chance for new fans to discover one of the most popular and enduring bands in British rock & roll history.
