The Secret Garden

A desolate house of shadows. A forgotten garden of light.

When orphaned Mary Lennox arrives at Misselthwaite Manor, she finds a gothic fortress of shadows, echoing with secrets and the mysterious cries of a child down its endless, dimly lit corridors.

But beneath the cold Yorkshire earth lies a dormant magic waiting to be awakened. When Mary discovers a buried key and a hidden door, she steps into a world lost in time – an abandoned garden, a sleeping sanctuary untouched for years.

The Secret Garden holds a special place in people’s hearts. It is a profound exploration of grief, friendship, the fierce resilience of the human spirit and the joy of children as they respond to the radiant and transformative powers of nature.

This spellbinding production of The Secret Garden captures all the enchantment and wonder of the beloved book.

From the sadness of the manor to the fairy-tale beauty of the garden, the cheeky but wise robin and the quirky, funny characters who inhabit this corner of Victorian England, this play will make you both laugh and cry.
