Punk Icon John Lydon Brings Spoken Word Tour to Blackburn

Legendary punk icon John Lydon is bringing his acclaimed solo spoken word tour back for 2027, following overwhelming demand from fans.

John will once again share stories from his unique and extraordinary career during the tour, which kicks off in Farnham on March 31 and concludes in the Black Country on May 16.

The dates have been added due to the huge demand from fans eager to hear Lydon’s thoughts on Sex Pistols, Public Image Ltd, his art and his life story.

An icon, a revolutionary and an immortal, Lydon changed the face of music as the frontman and lyricist of the Sex Pistols. Under the name Johnny Rotten, he sparked a cultural revolution that transformed the music world forever.

During his remarkable years with Public Image Ltd (PiL), he continued to push musical boundaries and challenge expectations.

As a writer, Lydon has also produced two best-selling memoirs – Rotten: No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs and Anger Is An Energy: My Life Uncensored.

His spoken word tour, I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right, gives fans the opportunity to hear his stories and reflections up close and personal.

John said:

“I could be shit. I could be shite. I’m left-handed. John Lydon or John Rotten.”
