Get ready for a night of big laughs, big personalities and even bigger secrets as Desperate Scousewives: Lily’s Story comes to the Blackburn Empire Theatre this June.
This smash-hit comedy is heading out on its first-ever nationwide tour, following huge success in Liverpool, and brings together a fabulous all-female cast led by Crissy Rock, best known for her role in Benidorm.
Taking to the stage in Blackburn on Wednesday 3 June 2026, the show follows the lives of three no-nonsense Liverpool women and one nervous newcomer, as they navigate life, love, loyalty and lipstick on a tightly knit street.
Susan, Vanessa and Lily rule the neighbourhood with their bold personalities and sharp tongues – but everything is turned upside down when Trisha, a single mum from Manchester, arrives and disrupts the balance.
Written, directed and starring Lynne Fitzgerald, the show is part of an acclaimed series of plays, each telling the story from a different character’s perspective. This instalment, Lily’s Story, delivers a fast-paced, riotous comedy packed with warmth, wit and plenty of relatable moments.
The cast also features Lynn Francis and Samantha Alton, bringing a wealth of stage experience and comic talent to this hilarious production.
Produced by Bill Elms Productions, the show promises an unforgettable night of laughter and Northern humour.
