Hailed as ‘stunning and moving’, The Shirley Bassey Story charts the life and epic career of legendary Welsh singer, Dame Shirley Bassey.
From her birth in Cardiff’s Tiger Bay in 1937 and her dramatic family life, through to her rise to international stardom and honouring as a Dame, The Shirley Bassey Story chronicles the incredible journey of one of Britain’s most popular female vocalists.
Noted for her powerhouse voice, star of the show, Barni Scott, faithfully recreates the passion, glitz and glamour of Wales’ glittering songstress.
Barni will take you on a musical journey through Bassey’s 60-year career; from her early UK hit singles, the James Bond years, through to the song that would become the trademark of her compelling life, This Is My Life.
