Following the announcement by the Prime Minister last night (8th December 2021) about the changes to regulations regarding COVID-19, we are pleased to announce that all our shows will continue as planned.
We are pleased to inform you that, as our theatre is below the minimum capacity for the new regulations, then COVID passes will NOT be required to attend shows at the Blackburn Empire.
From Friday 10 December, the wearing of face-coverings will be required at the theatre, unless you are exempt or are a child under the age of 11.
Face coverings are NOT required whilst eating or drinking refreshments purchased in the theatre.
