The Return of the Houghton Weavers at Blackburn Empire Theatre

This April, The Houghton Weavers bring their unique blend of popular folk music and humour Blackburn Empire Theatre.

Since learning their craft in the folk clubs of their native Lancashire over 40 years ago, the group – Tony Berry, Steve Millington, David Littler and Jim Berry – have performed thousands of concerts, recorded over 30 albums, starred in their own highly successful BBC TV series, Sit Thi Deawn, which had the highest viewing figures for any regional TV programme.

With their raucous traditional songs performed in their own unique style and sing-a-long favourites, such as their personal favourite ‘The Blackpool Belle’, The Houghton Weavers guarantee a brilliant evening of entertainment suitable for all the family.
