Blackburn and Darwen Brass Band recently toured Switzerland and are now keen to share their experience with an evening of music, culture, tradition and history of this majestic country.
The band have been delighting audiences since 1840 and their regular concerts both locally and nationally are always popular.
Michael Berry, chairman of The Blackburn Empire said; “We are delighted to be hosting this alpine extravaganza at the theatre and, as tickets are free, it is bound to be a full house, so we would encourage people to reserve their tickets either online or through the booking office soon.”
Alan Thomas from Blackburn with Darwen Band said; “The band have just returned from the most amazing trip to Switzerland. We played at absolutely stunning locations including one up a very high mountain! We are wondering if we are now the highest performing brass band in the world? We can’t wait to share some of the music and magic of this magnificent country.”
