Summer Academy at Blackburn’s only dedicated Musical Theatre Academy.

A week of Musical Madness with a show at the Empire Theatre to finish off what will be an incredible week. 

You will become part of a mixed age cast (8-16 years) meaning everybody will gain valuable experience of what it feels like to be part of a fully functioning production cast. 

We will be learning a different musical number each day Monday-Thursday. 

On Friday we will spend the day recapping all the numbers and doing tech. rehearsals in the theatre ready for the show starting at 6.30pm. 

The musicals you will cover are Mary Poppins, Oliver, We Will Rock you and The Greatest Showman. 

All cast members will receive a Summer Academy t-shirt and one free adult ticket to the show on the Friday evening.
