The ultimate show for guitar lovers is coming to Blackburn Empire Theatre this February.
Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Hank Marvin, Brian May, and Slash are just some of the outstanding guitar heroes’ tracks you will have the chance to experience in one amazing show!
The outstanding Story of Guitar Heroes is a live, concert style, ‘rock-umentary’ performed by the extraordinarily talented and renowned musicians, Phil Walker and his exceptional band. With over 20 guitars used on stage, Phil and his band sensationally recreate the sound and ambiance of each guitar hero, taking the audience on a journey through the decades; from the first legends of rock n roll of the 1950s, through to the most creative and inspirational modern guitar heroes.
Whatever kind of music you listen to, whether it be rock or pop, folk or reggae, they all have one thing in common: the guitar.
Electric or acoustic, there is no other instrument that can claim to be a catalyst for so many ideas, and be at the heart of so many revolutions, not only in music, but in culture and society.
The Story of Guitar Heroes highlights many of the prolific artist that have made this happen.
The awe-inspiring show not only appeals to all budding guitar heroes, but all lovers of music!
