Children from across the area are being invited to take part in open auditions for the chance to take part in one of the area’s most popular pantomime productions.
Pendle Productions in association with Thwaites Empire Theatre in Ewood, Blackburn is holding auditions for this year’s pantomime on Sunday 13th September 2015. This year’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk is set to be full of more sparkle and magic than ever before.
Tim Lince, Director of Pendle Productions, said “We are looking for outstandingly talented dancers and performers to join the company as part of the juvenile chorus in this year’s spectacular pantomime. Successful candidates will get the opportunity to work with a professional director, choreographer and cast.
“The pantomime at Thwaites Empire Theatre attracts sell out audiences and rave reviews and this is a great opportunity for youngsters to be a part of this fabulous production.”
Children, both boys and girls, aged 6 to 18 can audition and full details of the auditions can be found here
The open auditions take place between 2pm & 4:30pm on 13th September 2015 with auditions for members of invited dance schools between 10am & 2pm. To have a chance of taking part in the open auditions, candidates must register by 3pm at the latest.
This year’s panto, Jack and the Beanstalk, runs from the 2nd December 2015 to 3rd January 2016 and tickets are available online or through the theatre box office on 01254 685 500 (open Monday to Saturday 10am to 12:30pm)
