One of Blackburn’s charity theatres is set to host a variety performance featuring a line-up of East Lancashire’s top stars in a bid to raise funds for the venue.
‘Glitter with the Stars’ is a two-hour production featuring dance, drama and song taking place at the Thwaites Empire Theatre on Saturday, 3rd September.
Proceeds from the show which has been described as a ‘Sunday Night’ at the Palladium style show will be donated to the charity venue.

Blackburn Drama Club, the ever popular “Go on Tour” Group and Blackburn Musical Theatre Company will also be attendance with some of the stars from the pantomime in a tribute performance to the theatre.
Chairman of the Thwaites Empire Theatre, Michael Berry, said: “It’s going to be a fantastic event suitable for all ages. We hope the public will help us to raise funds for this wonderful theatre, which is well loved by everyone.”
It’s a show not to be missed with an action packed line-up of talented performers from across the borough.
