Cirque de Soleil Meets Magic Mike at the Empire

A classy all male variety show is coming to the Thwaites Empire Theatre with a troupe of professionally trained performers hand-picked from around the UK with undeniable talent, sparkling personality and honed physiques in equal measure.

The evening, which features male vocalists, aerial artists, pole performers and fire acts takes place on Friday, 15th January at 7.30pm and is suitable for ages 18 to 80.

Forbidden surprised the Britain’s Got Talent judges with their shirtless performance, which even wowed tough judge Simon Cowell. Forbidden received four yes votes, a standing ovation and later went one to have one of the most watched auditions on YouTube racking up twenty-one million views.

The male glamour group have had outstanding success since appearing on ITV’s hit TV Show, regularly playing to packed (and returning) venues.

With explosive choreographed group routines and spectacular solos from each of the Forbidden performers, the evening’s entertainment is fun and sophisticated.

Michael Berry, Chairman at the Thwaites Empire Theatre, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming such talented performers to the theatre in the New Year. The audience should expect the unexpected and be ready to see a show like nothing else.”
