Hello to you all.
Well we are now in the most hectic time of Theatre life here at the Empire.
There are over 70 performances of our Pantomime Cinderella and this year we have had a record number of group and private bookings to report.
Pantomime is a major revenue earner and it is vital that all involved at the Theatre are in their best form.
We are so lucky to have a brilliant dedicated staff and also a great number of volunteers who are really hard pressed and hard working at this important time.
We have also suffered the loss temporarily of two volunteers who have slipped and broken bones. It’s been a wrist and an ankle up to now. There was no alcohol involved.
Just writing this piece in a few minutes of spare time and I will give you a full report of the year’s activity in January next year.
So my grateful thanks to our staff, volunteers, and audiences for their loyal and wonderful support.
It is my pleasure to have such a good hobby helping to run this amazing facility and I am proud of all connected to it.
