Top variety performers will be taking to the stage at Blackburn’s Thwaites Empire Theatre next month for a special charity show.
Local comedian Des Day, will be introducing the special one-night only event to raise funds for The Christie Charity on March 10, from 7.30pm.
The ever popular variety show now in its ninth-year features talented performers from local dancers and vocalists to tribute acts and comedians.
Vocal entertainer, Pamela James will take to the stage alongside comedian and compère for the evening, Des Day. The line-up of local stars continues with magic and mystery from Brian Sefton, musical entertainment by multi-instrumentalist Pete Lindup and a performance from The Suzanne Roberts dance troupe.
Chairman of the Thwaites Empire Theatre, Michael Berry, is also set to steal the spotlight on the night with his vocals. He said: “The theatre has been chosen to hold this event for almost a decade. It’s a show packed with a variety of entertainment in aid of a wonderful charity.”
