Back to the 70s with Super Sonic Show! Huge 70s Party!

The biggest sounds of the 70s will be brought back to life at a supersonic show at the Blackburn Empire in March.

The Super Sonic 70s Show features the “Cat Suited Wondergirl” Janey Bombshell with an incredible 6-piece band. The hits they perform just go on and on! It really is one huge 70s party and by the end everyone is up and dancing in the aisles. Fans of the music can enjoy this epic trip back in time on Saturday 11th March.

From the towering majesty of Queen, John Miles, The Carpenters & ELO, the band also perform stunning renditions of chart toppers by 10cc, Wings, Andrew Gold, & Donna Summer’s epic ‘Macarthur Park’. The band’s highly energetic and visual presentation is completed with genuine 70s costumes with all the glitz and blitz you would expect from this colourful era of denim, flares, satin & leather. Completed with visuals, backdrop & original Chopper bikes this show really is not to be missed.

Band members include guitarist Greg Hart, who has played with bands such as Asia, Mike Oldfield, & Limehouse Lizzy plus Ultravox & Boogie Wonderland bassist Gary Williams, ex Limehouse Lizzy drummer Andy Fox & the wizardry of keyboardist / vocoder Andy Stewart, who has been musical director on many top theatre productions and is the grandson of the late great Arthur Askey!

So, dig out your platforms, squeeze into your flares and get ready for a supersonic night!
